Origin of this Rosary
In the beginning, there were three of us, three women and sisters in fraternity. The worrying state of the world, the pandemic and its dreadful consequences was making us so sad. We were eager to do something, without knowing what to do…
So we presented our desire to the Lord to be enlightened and guided. We prayed, and one of us, C. spent several hours at the Carmel of Chambéry in front of the Blessed Sacrament. And there she received this spiritual vision.
The first image of the vision was the fresco in the crypt of the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Myans in the region of Savoie, France. This fresco describes the miracle which took place in 1248, when the Granier Mountain collapsed. The whole area was drowned under mud and rocks, except for the monks who were praying in front of the statue of Our Lady of Myans. The fresco shows demons trying to destroy the Sanctuary with enormous boulders. But they say: « We can’t, because the Virgin Mary will not let us. »

Then the spiritual vision continued, and Carol saw a second image:
This time, she saw the Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration Chapel of Chambéry.
Inside the chapel, a very large Rosary, with huge beads, was displayed on the ground, at the feet of the Holy Sacrament. And part of this Rosary was going out of the door into the street where it went on spreading out. And once outside, the beads were immediately turned into the battlements of a fortress. These great walls were forming an extraordinary shield…
During the vision, two words echoed in her head: Perpetual Rosary.
On the days following the vision, we have prayed for discernment with a priest and spiritual director to understand the meaning of the vision.
The first image of the vision represented the fresco in the Crypt of the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Myans, in Savoie, France. Then we answered the Lord’s call, convinced that the Rosary is a powerful and extraordinary rampart meant to increasingly protect the whole world!
And this was the beginning of the ‘Perpetual Rosary for the world’ on 1st October 2020.
