‌“Great Rosary on France”, an Impressive Testimony

Power of the Rosary, Power of the Rosary

One morning in January 2019, Véronique Radigois felt an urgent call from the Virgin Mary. She asked her to trace a large Rosary on a map of France, placing the different beads on the places where She had appeared and on the shrines where She is honored, in order to offer special protection to France…

Introducing Véronique

Born in a Catholic family, the eldest of seven children, Véronique felt the presence of the Virgin Mary at her side from a very young age.
Throughout her life, Véronique maintained a deep faith and a close relationship with the Blessed Virgin and Christ. Then, caught up in the whirlwind of a very active life as a nurse with four children, she no longer took the time to practice her faith and drifted away from it somewhat, even though prayer remained a constant presence in her life.

Véronique interviewed by “Perpetual Rosary for the World”:

Véronique, what happened on that famous morning in January 2019?

– That morning, I heard a very clear call from the Virgin Mary: “Buy a map of France and draw a Rosary on the map.” As this call was strong and irrevocable, I knew immediately that it would be done and that I would be helped by Heaven… From the beginning, I understood that the cross of the Rosary should be placed on Le Puy-en-Velay, the medal on Notre-Dame de Paris, and it was also clear that all the places of Marian apparitions should be present.

What was your response?

– I began doing some research and marked 700 places and shrines dedicated to the Virgin Mary on a map of France. But with so many points, how could I arrange them into a Rosary? I tried, but it was impossible! I gave up fairly quickly…
Some time later, I heard the Virgin Mary say to me again, “Make a Rosary out of string and move it around on the map.” I tried repeatedly for several months, without success.
Then one morning in May, when I woke up, I heard the vibrant call again. So I said bluntly to the Virgin Mary: “I’m willing, but you have to place the Rosary, because I can’t do it.” And then, miraculously, the Rosary was finally placed over France in less than an hour, with its beads equidistant from each other!

How does the Blessed Virgin Mary speak to you?

I don’t hear her with my ears, I don’t hear her voice. But her words impose themselves on my thoughts with incredible force. It’s impossible to confuse them with my own thoughts! What’s more, her presence at that moment is palpable.

How did this Rosary on the map of France become a pilgrimage for you?

A few days later, in the middle of the night, I woke up and heard Mary say to me, “Now that you have placed the Rosary on the map, you are going to go and do it.” After a moment of surprise, I felt that it was urgent, that I had to go quickly! So I left Le Puy-en-Velay, Notre-Dame de France, which is so important for our country! By car, I went from shrine to shrine, heading up towards Paris, then going around France, praying the Rosary continuously, totally amazed by all these places of Marian presence. I completed the entire tour in about three weeks… having traveled 6,500 km. But just before arriving in Paris, at the end of this extraordinary pilgrimage, I heard this inner voice: “A Rosary is three sets of five mysteries. So you’ll have to start again.” Shortly afterwards, I did two more Rosaries around France. What a joy it was to fulfill such a mission!

Can you share a memorable experience?

One of the memories that has stayed with me the most took place at Notre-Dame de Pitié, a small chapel in Croix-Gente in the forest in Charentes. It was a very important ancient pilgrimage site. The atmosphere was surprising in this place cut off from the world. As I was praying the Rosary in the chapel, I suddenly felt a very strong presence behind me. At first, I didn’t dare turn around. Then, unable to resist any longer, I turned my head and saw a young blonde girl smiling at me with a beautiful smile. Stunned, I stood frozen… but when I tried to get up, the girl had disappeared. I was deeply affected by this encounter…

Which shrines touched you the most?

Oh, there are so many touching shrines!
Montligeon, for example, is dedicated to the souls in purgatory, and since visiting this fabulous basilica, I have had a great devotion to the souls in purgatory.
I also think of those places where you feel so good, as if enveloped in the gentleness of Mary: Notre-Dame de Sabart, Tarascon sur Ariège, Notre-Dame de Peyragude, in Lot-et-Garonne…
And for me, the highlight of the pilgrimage is Notre-Dame de Partout, in Dordogne. It is the smallest chapel in the Rosary, in a remote location. A 19th-century priest wanted to connect with the world and built this little chapel to pray for the whole world. It is full of flowers, prayers, statues of saints from all over, and great fervor…
What I love about this Rosary of France is that there are famous, flamboyant places full of glory, such as Notre-Dame de Paris, Chartres, and Reims, but also small, humble, poor, and even neglected places. This Rosary allows us to reintegrate them, to give them back their rightful place, because they have a strong history.

This incredible story didn’t end there. Because you were asked to share it…

– Yes, following the pilgrimage, a new calling became clear: now I had to write a book. I started writing it in April 2024, and it was finished in a few months.
I then sent the manuscript to several publishers, and the head of Parvis Publishing instantly replied: “I have your manuscript on my desk, and I don’t want to let it go.” I had said to the Blessed Virgin Mary, “You have been guiding everything from the beginning, so you will guide what comes next.” The book was published in December 2025. And now a major lecture tour is being organized…

In your opinion, what is the purpose of this whole adventure guided by Heaven?

– First of all, I felt a very strong invitation to reinvest in forgotten places dedicated to the Virgin Mary, to bring them back to life! Because going to pray in these places rekindles life in them, and Mary becomes more present… In these times when churches, Christianity, and devotion to Mary are under threat, let us return to these wonderful places, steeped in history, where the Virgin Mary grants us graces…
I also understood that Mary is urgently asking for this Rosary over France to protect it from the serious threats it faces. It is a protection against the dark forces that surround us…
The Mother of God does not want any of her children to be lost, which is why she invites us all to pray the Rosary, a simple prayer, so easy, and which has immense value in Heaven!

The Perpetual Rosary for the World team invites all those who pray to visit their local Marian shrines on March 25, the Feast of the Annunciation, to pray the powerful Rosary.
Those who are unable to travel can join in prayer.
On that day, we will ask the Virgin Mary for special protection for each one of our countries.

Véronique, do you support this initiative?

– Yes, with all my heart! Personally, on March 25, I will go to pray with you at the Shrine of Myans, in Savoie, and at the Bénite Fontaine, in Haute-Savoie.

A huge thank you, Véronique! So, see you on the Feast of the Annunciation!
